Asian-Style Ginger Shrimp

Take a trip to the Far East with our new Asian-Style Ginger Shrimp. An authentic Asian sauce with hints of soy, miso and ginger covers our savory shrimp – all atop a zesty bed of rice.

Skillet/Saute:

  • Empty entire contents of bag into a 10" skillet and arrange shrimp in a single layer.
  • Add 1/2 cup of water to the skillet with shrimp and rice.
  • Cook on HIGH heat to bring to a boil.  Reduce to MEDIUM heat and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes.  Turn shrimp and stir occasionally until shrimp are fully cooked and the water is absorbed by the rice*.  Remove from heat and let stand 2 minutes, then serve.

     *For more tender rice add 1-2 tablespoons of additional water and cook an additional 2-3 minutes.

Microwave:

  • Empty entire contents of bag into a 1 quart microwavable bowl.
  • Add 3/8 of a cup (6 tablespoons) of water to bowl containing shrimp and rice.
  • Microwave on HIGH for 5 minutes, stop and stir contents of bowl halfway through.
  • Cover bowl and let stand for 3 minutes.
  • Stir contents and serve.

Due to differences in appliances and quantity prepared, cooking time may vary and require adjustment.
